By Emily Schultz
Ever since I was a child, I have wanted to visit Rome. My fascination in mythology ignited my need to journey there. This past week, I finally had the opportunity to do so, and it did not disappoint.
Of all my travels here in Italy this semester, Rome was by far my favorite. The city has such a rich history, which is so perfectly preserved alongside the growing modernity of the city.
While there, I got to see the Vatican, the Papal gardens, the Pantheon, the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, and more. There was so much beauty packed into the short trip and I cannot wait to go back and experience more of what Rome has to offer.
